Our client is a commercial real estate lender and debt investor that is committed to developing successful, long-term customer and client relationships that are built on integrity, advocacy, and reliability. Founded on a strong and disciplined credit culture, our client offers a deep, discrete understanding of CRE lending and credit, as well as capital markets. Their senior management team brings an average of twenty years of specialized experience through multiple CRE cycles, a host of disciplines, and the full spectrum of CRE debt products.
Position Overview: This position is responsible for the full range of responsibilities that goes with originating and structuring complex commercial real estate debt transactions - from initial inquiry through term sheet, and collaborating with senior members of the team through the full underwriting, due diligence and closing of the loans.
Essential Job Functions:
Real estate valuation and property level financial analysis
Excel modeling
Deal structuring
Market research and analysis to support underwriting assumptions (including interact with brokers, appraisers, investors and other contacts to solicit color on market dynamics)
Preparation of presentations and memoranda evaluating investment merits and risks, market dynamics, and projected investment returns Qualifications/Requirements:
6-9 years of commercial real estate experience
BA or BS from an accredited institution
Advanced financial modeling skills with some experience modeling CRE assets and capital structures
Experience / knowledge of multiple property types
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task efficiently
Positive attitude and pro-active approach to problem solving
Team oriented with integrity and a strong work ethic The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($150,000 - $200,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
