JOB SUMMARY: Oversee all aspects of Finance as main point of contact at that site including budgeting, reporting, analytics, and financial optimization. Lead Capital Finance monthly reporting, pacings, tracking and coordination of annual capital planning for select destinations and experiences.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Annual Operating Plan Development – lead the development of overall park operating plan. Actively participate in park attendance forecasting, development of in-park spend per caps, review line schedules and labor costing, and non-labor expenses.
- Drive performance of operation through collaboration with all divisions to include: maximize per cap spend, optimize labor utilization, and minimize non-labor expenses. Ensure flash, financial statements and ad hoc reporting is timely and accurate to make business decisions at select destination(s) and experience(s).
- Lead Capital Finance monthly reporting, pacings, tracking and coordination of annual capital planning for select destination(s) and experience(s).
- Report Park financial results to the General Manager, divisional leads, CFO, and President on a daily/weekly/monthly basis including business insight and ideas for improvement.
- Business Development Support – modeling, idea generation, and other analysis to support business growth or experiential improvements as identified by the operating partners (e.g., post opening restaurants, special events space, expansion plans, etc.)
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. MBA in Finance and/or Certified Public Accountant preferred
EXPERIENCE: 10+ Years in a financial management role with significant analysis and business case development experience. Theme Park experience is a strongly preferred. Must have a solid accounting and strategy background, able to perform and supervise ROI and other financial analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certified Public Accountant preferred.
