As a leading wealth manager, BNY Mellon Wealth Management is focused on helping successful individuals and their families build, manage and sustain their wealth across generations and market cycles. Through a unique service model focused on five Active Wealth practices — Investing, Borrowing, Spending, Managing Taxes, Protecting Legacies — they help clients in the U.S. and abroad achieve stronger after-tax performance to help maintain their wealth over generations.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fiduciary I to join our Wealth Management team. The role is located in Pittsburgh and is eligible for flexible work arrangement.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• As a Wealth Manager you will be a primary advisor and manage complex client relationships with dedicated, high performing support team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Articulation of BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s Active Wealth framework and implementation of firm’s best investment thinking; adoption of BNYM’s digital and client service tools (Wealth Online, Net Worth Statements, Advice Path, etc.); collaborating and leveraging expertise from other team members and BNYM investment professionals to ensure that all firm capabilities are provided to our clients.
• Active Wealth Management and Client Service- Frequent proactive interaction with clients and their advisors, including virtual and phone meetings. Serve as clients’ primary point of contact to BNYM and responsible for ensuring that all firm resources are provided to clients using the Active Wealth framework.
• Review accounts to ensure accounts are administered in accordance with the governing instrument and accepted fiduciary principles.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Additional industry designations and certifications are a plus (CFP, CFA, etc.).
• 5+ years of financial industry experience preferred, primarily managing complex client relationships. Demonstrable experience and network within client space and with advisors who support this level of sophisticated accounts.
• Experience working in a highly detail oriented and fast paced environment. Strong technological proficiency and adoption of firm’s digital tools is required.
