The Vice President collaborates and partners with senior management of the university and the faculty, and will be the chair of the President's Council on Inclusive Excellence, in order to promote an institutional culture and welcoming environment that supports diversity in all aspects of university life. A principal responsibility will be to play a leadership role in developing, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive strategic plan that advances a common campus vision with respect to diversity and inclusion.
This Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer will oversee a team that includes a director, two associate directors and an administrative assistant.
