Are you tired of working for the corporate board members who "zoom it in" and don't know you from Adam? Look no further than EVE Pet Hospital!
Who we are:
East Valley Emergency (EVE) is a brand new 24/7/365 emergency dog and cat hospital just built in Mesa. Grand Opening June 1st 2024. No general practice, no specialty. We are privately owned by the doctors who work here. That's right! The owners of the hospital will be working just as hard as you and by your side.
Who we are looking for:
At EVE Pet Hospital, we are looking to populate our team with positive people who take pride in their whole selves, because people who are happy with themselves take pride in their work. We value diversity and inclusion, no matter your skin or hair color, no matter your pronoun or piercing. We are looking for individuals who enjoy fun and even a little weirdness at work, but that can take responsibility for their contribution to this life saving care. If you are in this field we know you love animals, but we are looking for people who want to love their job and their coworkers as much as they love animals. We honor our Veterinary Technicians, assistants and Customer Service staff as the vital team members they are in delivering that efficient and quality care we all want to provide the fur babies. Become the professional you are meant to be; with transparent access to the skills list necessary to move up in salary level, we will give everyone the opportunity to practice and improve your skills no matter if you are day or night crew. Cross training in administrative and Veterinary Assistant skills are not just encouraged, it's included in the skill tree! If you see yourself as a team member self motivated enough to have always provided the quality care your patients deserve, but are looking for a job that actually values your dedication and rewards your ambitions to grow and continue practicing your skills to reach your full potential, apply now to EVE Pet Hospital.
Our Promise: Accessibility
- You will know who your supervisors are and they will know you. They are accessible though more than just email. And the night managers are the ones working at night with you!
- Transparency in the skill set required to reach each tier of the pay scale and opportunity to improve your skills. Evaluation can take place anytime you learn a new skill, you don't have to wait for a yearly meeting.
- Access to the tools and training you need to provide the proper care to your patients and expand your skills.
- Any price increases are transparently applied to the inflation of the product or the benefit of you: the staff; you won't be lining some board member's pockets.
Promise we expect of you: Responsibility/Accountability
- We are looking for reliable individuals that take pride in their work and respect their coworkers. We are here to help the patients AND we are here to help each other.
- Meetings will be required but paid, and they will be reasonable times for all shifts. No noon meetings required for overnighters. So we expect you to attend and participate, so you always have a chance to have your voice heard.
- Self motivation to continually improve your skills and self awareness to communicate when you need help. Receptiveness to education, training and feedback.
- Dedication to ethical, high quality, efficient and compassionate care for your patients and clients. (Obviously, but we have to say it )
*Compensation
We have a tiered level system but every level is also responsible for every skill in the lower tiers. The whole team is expected to help out with phone calls, trash, laundry, ect. A full skill list for each level and compensation table will be provided after application submission but before the interview so you may review where you might stand. There will also be a differential for night vs day shift and weekend vs weekday shifts. Differential also applied for liscensed / certified Veterinary Technicians.
