BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in San Antonio, TX, is hiring a Critical Care Veterinary Technician!

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, apply today! This is a full-time position, working Friday - Sunday 7am-7pm, rotating holiday availability is required.
As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
- Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
- Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
- Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
