The Veterinary Technician will be responsible for organizing, implementing and performing technical service requests by research staff. Monitors and oversees quality of activities, operations and/or projects in the LAF labs. Provides and documents training of all FCCC employees working with animals.
Education
Other : Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician Program (Required)
Experience
3 Years experience in relevant laboratory animal facility (Required)
General experience and knowledge of animal welfare practices, husbandry procedures, animal health and veterinary care, enrichment program, experimental methodology and applicable regulations (Required)
Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and projects, making effective judgments as to prioritizing, time allocation and attention to detail. (Required)
License/Certifications
LAT - Laboratory Animal Technician (Preferred) or LATG - Laboratory Animal Technologist (Preferred)
