SalaryWe are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician with experience to join our team here at Thomasville Animal Hospital to be a part of our Small Animal treatment area. We have a great group of employees that work well together and we are looking to add to the family.
Job Requirements:
- License
- exceptional animal handling skills
- experience in a veterinary office
- excellent character
- exceptional work ethic
- ability to lift a moderate amount (40-50#)
- Saturday morning availability on rotation
Our doctors wish to have highly trained and skilled technicians to utilize fully to better their medicine and service. On-the-job training is available as well as online courses to further your education and abilities with room to be promoted. Job Duties:
- assisting our small animal veterinarians in the treatment of patients
- dental cleanings and exams under anesthesia
- monitoring anesthesia
- surgical instrument care
- assisting veterinarian in surgery
- client education
- in-patient care of patients in ICU
