Are you ready to embark on a unique journey within the heart of veterinary care? Bulger Veterinary Hospital is thrilled to introduce a BRAND NEW position tailored for veterinary professionals who are passionate about both financial compliance and compassionate veterinary care!
About the Role:
As the Financial Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring charging accuracy among treatment plans and invoices, addressing any discrepancies with the veterinarians.
Some responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Monitoring inpatient invoices to ensure that services and supplies are properly transferred between Ezyvet and Smartflow.
- Collaborating closely with our dedicated medical teams to ensure treatment plans align with invoiced services (this will support all departments with hospitalized patients).
- Providing transparent financial updates to our valued clients, guiding them through the billing process with clarity and empathy.
- Acting as a guardian of compliance, meticulously reviewing records and documentation to uphold our standards.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and our medical professionals, facilitating smooth communication regarding financial matters.
- Your office will be strategically located in the heart of our hospital, allowing you to collaborate effortlessly with various departments and address any charging errors in real-time.
- Anticipating five 8-hour shifts
- Monday-Friday
- NO WEEKENDS!
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and protocols.
- Strong customer service skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport.
- Ability to navigate diverse environments, including exposure to animals and related hazards.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable with extended periods of desk work or standing, as the role demands.
