Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, managing client records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
- Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Manage client records, including updating contact information and medical history
- Provide information on pet care, grooming, training, and nutrition

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with animal physiology and basic pet care is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record management

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.36 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
