Veterinary Assistant

Branson Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

This is a full-time position (4-10s or 3-10s and 1-5 on Saturday) and with rotating weekend coverage. Top consideration will be given to those with veterinary experience; however, we’re open to training and will consider all candidates with relevant/transferrable skills.

Primary skills and responsibilities:

This person will be responsible for working with our DVM team and the technical staff managing exam rooms and outpatients, execute treatment plans, assist with procedures, and more. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in exams
• Client communication and education
• Patient handling and restraint
• Administering vaccines and medications
• Blood draws and IV catheter placement
• Outpatient procedures
• Microscopic evaluation
• Pharmacy duties
• Handling medical records
• General cleaning
• Assisting with phone calls

Full-time benefits:
