Our specialized veterinary practice has over 20 years of experience focusing on professional, non-anesthetic dental prophylaxis for canine. The Veterinary Medical Board has completed inspections at our facility, and they support our business - they appreciate that non-anesthetic teeth cleaning offers a preventative method for controlling tartar and gingivitis, especially with pets with mild tartar and those with health issues that cannot tolerate anesthesia.
Many of our patients are elderly, have health conditions, and/or are brachycephalic breeds which places them at a much higher risk under anesthesia. Our veterinarians perform physical and oral exams to assess whether the pet is a proper candidate for this procedure, and we refer back to full service veterinary clinics when necessary.

Core Responsibilities: Examine & Monitor. It’s Easy!
Examine - Ensure that exams are thorough and completed in a timely manner. Notation should be concise, neat, and legible.
Monitor - Although the veterinarian does not complete the dental prophylaxis procedure, they monitor technician-patient procedures. They also provide medical guidance, and sign off on treatment plan.
