Veteran Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide caregiving services to military veterans living with service-related disabilities and injuries. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our country.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide personal care assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Ensure the veteran's home environment is safe, clean, and comfortable
• Prepare and assist with nutritious meals based on dietary needs
• Accompany veterans to medical appointments and facilitate communication with healthcare providers
• Offer emotional support, companionship, and promote independence and dignity
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands as needed
• Adhere to care plans and document care provided

We're looking for someone with:

• A heart for caring.
• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• Prior experience as a caregiver, nurse aide, or related healthcare field preferred
• Understanding of service-related conditions such as PTSD, TBI, amputations, and other injuries/disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships
• Patient, compassionate, and respectful demeanor
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to veterans' homes
• Veteran status or experience supporting veterans is a significant advantage
