Vet Technician/Animal Technician

We are a busy small animal and exotic animal practice looking for a full time or part time animal technician. Riverdale Veterinary - Group is a full service animal hospital located in Riverdale, NY, in The Bronx.

Candidates must have some experience working with animals.

Helpful skills needed for this position include animal restraint and handling;

• placing IV catheters;
• drawing blood for lab samples;
• assisting in radiology and surgery;
• making up medications;
• working with doctors on animal patients;
• speaking to clients and getting histories;
• obtaining weights and temperatures.
