We are seeking Experienced Veterinary Assistance and Techniciansonly. The ideal candidate for these Full-time position needs to be a self-starter, dependable, punctual, detail oriented, have strong communication skills with both clients and co-workers. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments; and be a team player. Most days run at a very fast pace here. We do not have after-hour emergency or call, but do require rotational weekend and holiday shifts.
Being Veterinary Technician at our clinic would include:
- Receive, handle and treat patients with skill, compassion and care.
- Collection and accurately perform laboratory tests.
- Radiology, care for hospitalized patients, surgical preparation and assistance, anesthetic dental cleaning and anesthesia monitoring.
- Observe animal appearance and activity for general physical condition, obvious signs of illness, disease and discontent.
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications including MS Office. AVImark knowledge a plus!
- Perform general physical activities that require bending, standing, stooping, moving from room to room, sit, talk, and listen; may be required to walk or stand for long periods of time; will use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; will reach with hands and arms.Frequently lift, carry dogs weighing 50 lbs. Walk and handle dogs weighing up to 150 lbs.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
