Job description

This position is open to candidates based in US, Canada, and Mexico, who are authorized to work in their respective countries. Relocation package included to USA for Canada, and Mexico based candidates.Preference given to candidates currently residing in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, Toronto or Vancouver metropolitan areas.

Build and lead the Venue Operations team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, to create a sustainable competitive advantage for the Coca-Cola system. The Operations Lead will build and deliver the plans, teams, processes, and execution initiatives necessary to maximize the return on investment generated by the North America Operating Unint (NAOU) and Latin America Operating Unit (LATAM OU) for the largest sporting event in the world, to be held across 16 cities and 3 markets – USA, Canada, and Mexico.

The Operations Lead will lead the fulfillment of the system’s contractual obligations associated with FIFA WC 2026 agreements and advise the FIFA WC General Manager on overall event utilization strategy, objectives, and planning activities. The successful candidate should be able to show experience with planning, execution, and collaborating with stakeholders on execution-related activities.

What You’ll Do for Us 

  • Develop a clear and bold vision of success for the Coca-Cola/FIFA WC 2026 Venue Operations across 3 markets

  • Define operational objectives aligned with overall System’s objectives and legacies; develop and manage an operating plan for all FIFA WC 2026 Venues and sites

  • Develop a staffing plan to fulfill Project’s needs.  This will include FIFA WC 2026 Project Team Management staff to oversee key functional areas in each market as well as staff working in the FIFA WC venues. (Pre-WC: Lead of a Core team of 10+ people, FIFA WC Time: Lead of a system team of 100+ people)

  • Develop and manage a concessions program for Coca-Cola serving all spectators at the stadiums and fan zones with Company product, merchandising and equipment, through collaboration will appoint FIFA WC Caterers and customer/bottler Key Account teams.

  • Develop and manage a complete logistics plan facilitating flows of product, equipment and merchandising from existing System or Vendor facilities to all FIFA WC sites, to include security and product integrity processes, environment compliance, etc.

  • Develop and manage a “Value In Kind” program serving all FIFA WC Family members with Company product, merchandising and equipment, within contractual budgetary agreement, in collaboration with TCCC’s EPICS team.

  • Develop strong working relationship with all relevant external constituencies including, but not limited to, all relevant functions within FIFA, caterers, and internal constituencies including, but not limited to, relevant functions of NAOU and Mexico (LATAM OU) and bottling system.

  • Manage all accreditations processes that involve FIFA WC 2026 and FIFA

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred

  • 10+ years’ experience in Coca-Cola or Bottler organization with Management experience in Operations around major events

  • Demonstrated knowledge of operational and technical aspects of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and bottlers’ business including distribution center knowledge   

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate inputs, requirements, and demands of numerous constituencies and stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills at all levels of organizations, internally and externally, and spanning multiple markets

  • Understanding of strategic marketing (i.e. brand strategies and activation/utilization concepts) and the discipline of business planning

  • Thorough understanding of business systems and process development, including Project Management, performance measurement, and modeling/forecasting

  • Must possess excellent relationship-building skills, as well as strategic leadership abilities, to influence stakeholders
