Form of workJob Description SummaryThe Field Service Supplier Quality Engineer is a key role embedded within the quality organization and will act as the single point of contact for all quality related activities revolving around Field Service vendors who work for Gas Power. This role will ensure external vendors are capable to meet minimum quality and technical requirements to work for Gas Power and meet Customer expectations. The position will drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation, select suppliers through qualification processes, own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards, own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed.Job DescriptionEducation: []Employment Type: ["OTHER"]
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure that supplier approval/qualification process is properly applied
- Manage and execute technical supplier qualifications to ensure adequate supplier onboarding, thus minimizing compliance, quality and EHS risks
- Set up efficient Operating Rhythm with key sourcing stakeholders
- Active contributor in the development and deployment of qualification plan in line with sourcing strategies
- Plan, execute and follow up supplier development plans and surveillance audits to assure strategic/critical contractors have effective, efficient and robust QMS and Quality Control at site
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (project team, sourcing, engineering...etc) to discuss gaps and best practices captured during execution
- Support the business with quick reaction to supplier onboarding needs
- Identify any existing gaps or concerns that could present risks to ongoing upgrades/outages
- Lead problem solving activities involved field service contractors: 8Ds, RCIs, RCAs, PSRs
- NCR management: own, analyze and make sure appropriate correction/preventive actions are properly implemented.
- Define, monitor and communicate adequate, Customer oriented KPIs
Required Qualifications
- This role requires relevant experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or 5+ years experience in field services/outage quality management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Ability to travel 30-40% of the time

- Certified SRG auditor (internal candidates only) and / or Certified QMS Auditor

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
