Summary/Objective
The General Vending Warehouse position is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, general upkeep, and organization within the Vending Warehouse. This position will unload product shipments, rotate inventory on shelves, prepare and organize prepackaged food for deliveries. This position will pull product based on an established order sheet for each account with close attention to detail and accuracy. Works closely and has exceptional communication with their co-workers, the Vending Route Manager and Director of Vending & Fountain.
Essential Functions

Prepare packaged foods to be loaded for delivery within the designated market by following order sheets for each route. Count and pack all food in crates for delivery to company accounts within the designated market.
Place accurate dates on all products and maintain consistent product rotation.
Build loads of vending and coffee product for transportation to other company locations.
Oversee and execute the unloading of product shipments and positioning product in the correct location based upon company and warehouse standards.
Manage, rotate, and maintain organized shelves within the cooler, freezer and Vending Warehouse. This includes but is not limited to condensing inventory, stocking product categories, filling quick pick product and organizing new product.
Build product loads for vending trucks. Utilize applicable pick system to maneuver electronic pallet jack through the warehouse and retrieve appropriate product.
Organize and compile product donations for Food for Lane County or other organizations based upon company policy and standards.
Ensure product remains in satisfactory condition according to company standards through careful placement, transportation, and attention to detail.
Monitor waste or credit product through attention to detail and appropriate disposition of specified product.
Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area through sorting product, throwing away garbage and picking up trash within the warehouse.
Adhere to all requirements for warehouse equipment use, cleanliness and safety, follow all company safety policies.
Observe company safety guidelines and practices in every phase of work. Report all hazardous conditions, safety concerns, injuries, incidents or property damage to your manager.
Regular and reliable attendance.
This is a safety-sensitive position. The employee has the responsibility to always be cognizant of their own safety and the safety of others, must have the ability to perform job functions in a safe manner, and operate company equipment and/or vehicles with good judgment and awareness of surroundings at all times.

Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a warehouse setting, with rare outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as a hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, six-wheel and box cutters.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time union position. The schedule will be Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with a 7:00 am start time. 40 plus hours weekly, with mandatory overtime as necessary. This is a non-exempt level position.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Warehouse, inventory, or stocking experience.
- Forklift experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Employee must meet company standards for driving a company vehicle, pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
