Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Vending Foreman is to repair and maintain vending and fountain equipment and to provide guidance and expertise to other Vending Mechanics.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
- Ensure mechanics have stock needed.
- Update system and maintain inventory numbers.
- Order any parts needed to maintain stock levels.
- Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry). As needed to assist or train other vending mechanics.
- Complete paperwork daily.
- Provide guidance and expertise to other Vending Mechanics.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and five years vending mechanic experience; OR (2) 9 years vending mechanic experience.
- Basic electricity knowledge.
- Basic plumbing knowledge.
- Apprentice through Master Grade mechanic; work depends on skills.
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Related training or certification.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
- Hand tools.
- MS Office including Word and Excel, Outlook.
