Vehicle System Test Engineer

Job Title: System Test Engineer – Vehicle Test

Location: Rochester Hills, MI

Experience: 3-5 years in serial development or comparable experience in automotive (mandatory), ADAS (mandatory)

Responsibilities:

o Proven Work with requirements engineers for Requirement Analysis and updates to write test cases specification and Vehicle test procedures

o Perform Vehicle test cases for different ADAS Features at Low and High speed to evaluate different sensors and cameras functionality and performance (Proven)

o Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

o Perform Defect reports, reproduce and verification

o Responds to stakeholder inquiries concerning Vehicle Test solution and issues.

o Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

o Work with Vehicle instrumentation team to define equipment and sensors installation, as well as Test environment and Tools requirements to perform Vehicle Test and collect Logs

o Will be responsible for following GPEP/ME-PDP process for work product deliverables

o Ensures compliance to Company procedures (e.g. Process - Work Instructions) and applicable standards (e.g. ISO/TS 16949, ISO/IEC TR 15504).

o As per program, ECU flashing and Sanity checks at Bench

Desired Requiremnts:

-Know-how of CAN, ETH, LIN automotive communication networks

-Working knowledge of ADAS-Surround View Cameras with prior experience in automotive testing and validation

-Working knowledge and Vehicle test experience at Low speed ADAS features such as: TRA, TRSC, EOL, SC, etc.

-Experienced in use of requirements management tools. Familiar with concepts such as baselining etc.

-Working knowledge of Oscilloscope, Video Scope etc.

-Working knowledge of ASPICE product development and product testing engineering practices in automotive field

-Working knowledge to configure and calibrate DGPS equipment

-Working knowledge of CAN and LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI and other automotive networks and related tools

-Knowledge of ALM/PLM tools such as Windchill, PTC integrity

-Working knowledge of configuration management (preferably PTC/MKS)

Personal Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of Driving experience with different Vehicles and Trailers

- Clean Driving record

- Level 1,2 & Trailer’s Tow certification
