Vehicle Purchasing Agent - Pipes U-Pull It Shreveport

WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

• Follow the Pickers Way including but not limited to all Sales and Marketing SOPs, Sales and Marketing Scripts, etc.
• Work schedule Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (every other Saturday) *when working Saturday, will have Wednesday off.
• Purchase salvage vehicles for Pipes-U-Pull-It
• Coordinate Transfer of vehicles to PTXK and RDPR
• Coordinate with Regional Car Buyer, Brian Hudson
• Answer phones following phones script; return all voicemail callers ASAP.
• Purchase vehicles following phone script
• Maintain vehicle titles & auto hulks and file correctly
• Print stickers for all vehicles on/off yard and place them on vehicles. Vehicle MAY NOT be processed until stickered.
• Data entry of all vehicles on/off yard (Crush)
• Count yard physical count maintain 100% accuracy with Crush Inventory
• Marketing: Call car selling prospects and customers on daily basis log into SharePoint
• Log all vehicles moved maintain 100% accuracy
• Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
• Compliance with Employee Handbook and all SOPs.
• All other duties as assigned.

RESULTS EXPECTATIONS

• Meet or exceed current Weekly Scorecard metrics (subject to change).
• Purchase 280 vehicles per month: 200 PSHV; 60 PTXK; 20 RDPR
• Maintain Average vehicle purchase price of $265
• Purchase 65 vehicles per week; 11 cars per day.
• Maintain Perfect Crush Inventory

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment including hard hat, steel toe boots, high visibility clothing, and gloves.
• Ability to work standing 9 hours per day.
