Vault Teller

POSITION SUMMARY

ATM Up is looking for an experienced Vault Teller. As a trusted Vault Teller you will be overseeing and handling millions of dollars within the organization. You will audit balances at the beginning and of the day to ensure that the correct amounts of money are coming in and going out. The Vault Teller is also responsible for calculating accurate amounts to dispatch to locations.

OBJECTIVES

• Prepare physical cash according to the route manifests for the curriers and transfer chain on custody
• Count the money supply to ensure that it squares with the final count from the previous day of business.
• Manage multi-million dollar cash loads and track any discrepancies.
• Audit vaults balance in the beginning of the day as well at the end of the day.
• Prepare all residual funds for shipment back to federal reserve
• Receive cash deliveries, stock away cash, and process all monies from the armored truck into the vault.
• Close business days by stocking vaults with enough currency for the next business day.
• Track, record, report, and store transactional information.
• Matching the physical cash with the expected cash upon returns.
• Process client banking paperwork and handle compliance
• Data entry and other administrative responsibilities as directed

COMPETENCIES

• Confidence handling large sums of money and confidential information
• Advanced mathematical skill such as add, substract, multiply, and divide easily and quickly
• Proficiency with computers to effectively use financial institution software systems
• Ability to read balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Intermediate excel skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years’ work experience in a teller/cashier role in a bank environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Lift up to 40lbs

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
