Duties:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Certification in Sonography or related field
- Proficiency in performing various types of ultrasound scans, including Arterial, ABI, Venous Insufficiency, Rule out DVT
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately identify structures during scans
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
