Job Description
Covelo direct is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist/Vascular Sonographer for a full time, benefit eligible, position in New Jersey.
In this role, you will perform all diagnostic ultrasound examinations that create the images needed for diagnosis. The Sonographer integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.
Day-to-day duties include for this Sonographer:
- Performs all ultrasound procedures (Vascular, as appropriate) including patient positioning, machine set-up, image acquisition, measurements, and post-processing.
- Follows all National Patient Safety Goals.
- Provides recordkeeping of patient history and symptoms.
- Reviews orders, explains procedure, answers questions and provides a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Assists physician in the performance of invasive ultrasound procedures, if applicable.
- Maintains cleanliness of department and assures adequate supply inventory.
- Completes report template in CVIS prior to physician interpretation and other imaging/reporting systems as necessary.
With this position, you can expect for this Sonographer:
- A competitive salary of $83,200 - $91,520
- Schedule of Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Basic qualifications for this position include:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiology
- RDMS with RVT
- CPR/BLS certification
