Varsity FootballHead Coach
JOB GOAL:
To develop and maintain an efficient and competitive football program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NFHS Concussion Course
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
- NFHS Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course
- Head Coaches must also have NFHS Sport-Specific Course and First Aid Course
- 5 Years of Varsity/Collegiate/Professional coaching experience, or 3 years of Head Varsity Coaching Experience
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Lead, manage, and supervise program activities, practice, and games.
2. Work with Athletic Director and coaching staff to develop program goals and objectives that are focused on team success.
3. Lead, manage, and facilitate off-season programming, including camps and clinics.
4. Support program fundraising efforts with Booster Club.
5. Support 7-12 grade model through YAP camps and staffing
6. Comply with all AIA Bylaws and District policies.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Fall and Spring Football, and Off Season Training
COMPENSATION: Per District Supplemental Salary Schedule
REPORTS TO: Athletic Director
