Job description

A Valet Parking Cashier is responsible for greeting guests and processing all parking transactions and associated fees in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

 

What will I be doing?

As a Valet Parking Cashier, you would be responsible for greeting guests and processing all parking transactions and associated fees in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Total, process and collect payments from guests and all parking transactions to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, managing a bank, reporting discrepancies, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards, vouchers and credits
  • Maintain accurate records of parking-related charges and fees including, but not limited to parking rates, validations, accrued parking time, vehicles in the hotel's care, etc.
  • Assist with moving guest vehicles and manage flow of traffic
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

Hourly Rate  The Hourly Rate for this role is $24.24 nd is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

 

 Ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, must be available on Friday & Saturday based on hotel demands.
