Vacuum Truck Operator

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Vacuum Truck Operator for the SETN I-26 Widening Project , in Chapin, South Carolina.

The Vacuum Truck Operator's primary function is to operate a Vacuum Truck at the site of work to assist the utility group to locate existing utilities prior to excavation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operates a high powered power washer and vacuum system that is used to find existing utilities prior to excavation
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed
• May perform other related duties as required

• 3-5 Years Operating Experience Preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Clean Driving Record
• Copy of Current Driving Record
