Rogue Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that is dedicated to its mission to improve health, especially for the most vulnerable, in partnership with our community. We are Tier 3 Patient-Centered Primary Care organization comprised of Primary Health Care, Dental, Pharmacy, Integrated Health, Integrative Health, School Based Health Centers and Community Outreach.

Rogue Community Health is looking for a Vaccine Program Manager who is professional, adaptable to change, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

The Vaccine Program Manager is responsible for maintaining the Rogue Community Health immunization program and following all state/federal guidelines related to inventory, storage administration, and reporting of vaccine products. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers, which include team members, patients, volunteers, students, visitors, and vendors, by consistently exceeding the customer’s expectations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Vaccine Program Management: Develop and maintain the RCH Vaccine Program by ensure all policies, procedures, and workflows are current, accurate, and approved by Leadership Team.

2. Site Vaccine Management: ensure all RCH sites have accurate and current vaccine equipment, supplies necessary to achieve assigned programs’ goals, objectives, and directives in accordance with mutually agreed upon time frames and in compliance with pertinent guidelines and regulation.

3. Vaccine Reporting: Assure the collection, collation, interpretation and reporting of program related outcomes and reports.

4. Training: Stay up to date on vaccination trends and information via continuing education training, seminars, conferences, and clinical publications. Assist other RCH sites with staying up to date on required VFC/ALERT trainings. Review training records as needed.

5. Temperature and Storage: Ensure all Vaccine site storage units are sound, secure, clean, calibrated, and logged. Maintain records for three years.

6. Inventory: Perform vaccine inventory counts, place vaccine orders, return expired vaccines, maintain borrowing logs, oversee vaccine transport, and report vaccine discrepancies.

7. Flu Vaccine Management: Arrange, book, and oversee Flu vaccine clinics.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE: Current and active Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse with active immunization certification through an accredited organization.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical setting. Minimum 2 years of experience with VFC and ALERT.

Required to complete a criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen once a conditional offer is accepted.
