Essential Functions List of significant/essential duties, tasks and/or responsibilities required of this position.

• Follow and understand all of the “Standard Operating Procedures.”
• Must have a valid California Milk pasteurizer’s license.
• Pasteurize milk and milk products as required by law.
• Must have a valid California samplers and weighers license.
• Sample and weigh products as required by law.
• Perform jobs on all shifts as requested by the production supervisor which may include: Sanitation, Receiving, Loadout, Dryer, (Niro, and Rogers Evaporator Operation), Avapac Operation, Powder Blending Operation, Bulk Filling Operation, Palletizing, Rework, or other jobs that may be created in the production department.
• Keep accurate and correct records.
• Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Take lunch break in the correct amount of time.
• Work in safe and sanitary manner.
• Work well with other employees.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area.
• Must notify foreperson or supervisor in the event that standards are not being met.
• Follow all safety and working rules.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area.
• Responsible for training new hires.
• Assist with break and lunch relief as needed.
• Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance at work
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Responsible for all work being done in a timely fashion and done properly
• Follow all company Policies, such as but not limited to: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Quality Foods (SQF), and Safety Rules and procedures
• Must have the ability to get along with co-workers, management personnel, customers, vendors, and employees in accordance with the company policies and working rules while ensuring a harmonious and conducive work environment
• Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly.
• Responsible for keeping all floors, walls, machines, and pipes clean.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as but not limited to gloves, apron, goggles, safety glasses.

Experience

• Must be able to operate the equipment effectively after the appropriate break-in period.
• Simple math reasoning required.
• Basic computational skills required.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• One to three months of related experience.
