Job Description:
Clinical Transplant Center LPN
Care provided on unit: Step-down unit that provides care to Kidney, Liver, and pancreas transplant patients. Overflow unit for stroke and cardiac patients.
Long-term care experience will not be accepted. Need inpatient unit experience.
Currently working toward BSN is a plus
36 hours per week
3-12 hour shifts: Rotating days/nights. Must have 48 hours off between switching shifts.
Ratio: 1:3 with step-down, 1:4 general
Weekend: 4-5 weekend shifts per 6 week period.
2 summer holidays and 2 winter holidays required (Winter Holiday shifts include: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Summer holidays include Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Memorial Day.
No On-call
26 beds, stepdown/general care.
Possible reassignment within competency
Basic Knowledge Assessment Test (BKAT) is required
CC is 100186 and location is M9W inpatient transplant unit
Unit is located in the Main Hospital, 9th floor, West Wing
Dress code: Ceil blue/white
