We're hosting an event called UXDX in May from the 15th - 17th. UXDX is a 3-day Global Conference that brings leaders within the product development industry to talk about how to build successful and efficient teams in product, UX, design and engineering.

Roles Include
General Event Runner
The general event runners responsibility will be to make sure that the event is running smoothly. Attendees will have questions and it will be your job to make sure that all these questions are answered for.
Goals
- Friendly to all attendees, speakers and partners
- Knowledge on the venue map and agenda
- Quick and easy to come to a resolution
Expo Assistant
Partners will have lots of questions. Once registered, it is very important to take the partner to their booths.
Goals
- Calm and friendly welcome upon arrival
- A quick and easy location of speaker/sponsor name and distribution of their name badge
- Smooth transition from registration desk to parner booth
Registration
From 8:00 we will be open for full registration. Once the event starts we will reduce the cover on the main desk but we’ll be open all day for any late comers and information. We will have one staff at each desk locating name badges plus another staff member crossing names off our attendee list.
Goals
- Calm and friendly welcome upon arrival
- A quick and easy location of attendee name and distribution of their name badge
- Alert attendees to the availability of tea/coffee in the Exhibition space so as not to create a blockage around the registration area
- Hand out delegate water bottles & booklets
Speaker Room Assistant
Speakers will have lots of questions. Once registered, it is very important to take the speaker to the speaker room and save any updated presentations to the computer in the speaker room. Let the speaker know they must be in the speaking room 30mins before their presentation and make themselves known to the stage runners who will be in a branded t-shirt.

- Calm and friendly welcome upon arrival
- A quick and easy location of speaker/sponsor name and distribution of their name badge
- Get the speaker's presentation and inform them of the 30 minute rule
Stage Runners
The role of the stage runners is to ensure the presentations run according to the schedule. The stage assistant is required to assist speakers in putting on mics and getting them ready to go on stage. After a speaker has finished their talk please remove their mic.
Please be tactical about bathroom breaks, choose your times wisely and always get someone to cover you.

Goals
- Have every speaker in the room 30 minutes before their presentation - communicate with the speaker assistant
- Keep the stage and surrounding area looking clean and tidy
- Assist speakers in putting on mics
- Remove mics after talks
During the day you will be working different roles, so everyone gets the chance to do different things.
Workshops
We have workshops on the 15th of May. We need volunteers present to give us a helping hand. This includes making sure that all the attendees are in the right rooms, that the speakers know where they are, to stay in the workshops just in case a speaker needs help with anything etc.
General Information:
Uniform: The uniform is all black, we supply you with a UXDX t - shirt.
Lunch: Lunch is supplied at the event.
