Ux Strategist

Job Objectives

We are looking for a thoughtful and passionate User Experience Strategist to transform the workflow experience for our clients managing the health outcomes for millions of lives across the country. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the UI/UX of our healthcare analytics and engagement platforms as well as point of care solutions, directly contributing to our mission of improving the quality of care and life for those we serve. Your work will focus on understanding the intricate needs of our clients—payers, providers, and their patients—and crafting intuitive, accessible solutions that not only meet their current needs but also anticipate future trends in healthcare delivery and technology.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, frame, and translate user workflows into efficient and effective UI/UX processes within the Lightbeam platforms.
• Advocate for user experience, creating product specifications and informative documentation for internal and external teams.
• Design and conduct user research and testing, analyze findings, and develop and maintain user profiles and personas, strategy briefs, user journey maps.
• Create low- to high-fidelity mocks, wireframes, content, and visual designs, and build interactive prototypes to communicate and test concepts and ideas.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to integrate user-centered design principles into product development processes.
• Play a vital role in UX, leading projects, working on UX-specific initiatives, and creating libraries and repositories of UX assets.
• Create proper collection and analytics frameworks to quantify UX efficacy and perform frequent data-driven assessment to inform improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• The right candidate for this role should have the following qualities:
• Proficiency in design and wireframing tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
• Data-driven, taking data-driven approaches to problem solving.
• Fast learner and creative problem-solver, comfortable turning vague requests into concrete solutions.
• Strong communicator, both in verbal and written forms.
• Able to work independently as well as a part of the strategic team in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, user experience, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ year experience in similar technical roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming experience in modern web frameworks and tooling such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React/Material, Tailwind, etc.
• Visual design, communication design, and/or service design background.
• Engineering experience in building, improving, and maintaining modern web-based applications.
• Past experience / knowledge in a healthcare setting.
