Your Responsibilities
As a UX Engineer, Harvestfor JD Intelligent Solutions Grouplocated in East Moline, IL, or Urbandale, IA, you will...
- Discover, Define, Design and lead Delivery of in-cab experiences with shared responsibility for integration of cross-domain technology with other UX team members
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX Design, Systems Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, and Software team members to deliver a best-in-class user experience to John Deere customers.
- Plan, coordinate, and perform validation activities for a variety of projects from a sub-system to a program level.

What Skills You Need
- 1 or more years of experience in User Experience
- 1 or more years of experience working with cross-functional teams such as engineering, software development, marketing, and business leaders
- Strong communication skills and an ability to lead teams through the user centered design process
- 1 or more years of experience of communicating research methodology, design concepts, data analysis, and test results to a broad range of stakeholders
- 1 or more years of experience successfully managing multiple project schedules and milestones
What Makes You Stand Out
- Work or academic experience in physical product UX, vehicle operation UX and/or embedded systems UX (academic or industry)
- Experience using UX metrics to provide insights to product and engineering groups
- Advanced Degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Human Machine Interaction, or related field discipline
- Experience applying Human Factors principles in the Agriculture, Heavy Machinery, or Transportation industries
- Demonstrated ability to utilize prototyping and/or existing research to provide insights to design ahead of software/physical builds
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree in a Human Factors, Ergonomics, Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
