Essential Job Duties:The primary purpose of this Accounting Technician position is to serve as a point of contact to complete purchases, process financial transactions, monitor work and workflow, and resolve issues for assigned MAE department(s) in all funding sources.
Financial transactions include vouchers, JV’s, idt’s, requisitions, marketplace, P-card reconciliations, personal reimbursements, travel reimbursements, receipts, check deposits, gift deposits, and University Invoices.

Minimum Experience/Education:High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Department Required Skills:- Experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, google sheets, and smartsheets.
- Understanding and experience with payment/credit card reconciliations, basic accounting principles, and functions.
- Must have the ability to make decisions, manage time and workflow, and effectively communicate with individuals and groups to ensure understanding.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, including WOLF Reports
