Quaker Valley Foods, a refrigerated food distributor located in Northeast Philadelphia is looking to expand our Overnight Order Selector team! Are you detail oriented and able to select products accurately in a warehouse environment?
As a warehouse worker, you'll select products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack. Our warehouse is temperature controlled, ranging anywhere from 30 degrees in the cooler to 0 degrees in the freezer.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently locate, select, stack on a pallet, and label product for shipment to customers.
- Navigate warehouse equipment to ensure customer orders are collected.
- Use wireless headset/voice-automated selection system.
- Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to optimize work completion.
- Perform visual inspections of orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment.
- Ensure company policies are met at all times.
Qualifications:
- Able to lift up to 50lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
- Must have solid verifiable previous work history, preferably in a freezer based warehouse environment.
- Must be dependable.
SCHEDULE:
- Overnight shift (8:00 pm start)
- 8 hour shifts
- Overtime available
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic mathematic skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
- Ability to lift heavy loads (25-100 lbs) and remain standing for long periods
- 2+ years of experience using an electric ride-on standing pallet jack.
- Hands on experience in voice picking systems
- Attention to Detail.
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts in a cold environment
- Highschool diploma or GED
