Utility Pole Inspector/Photographer

Job Summary:
Hillside Consulting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Utility Pole Inspector to join our growing team. As a Field Data Collector, you will be responsible for collecting specific images of Utility Poles utilizing a computerized laser camera called an Ike+. All data/photos will be collected from the ground utilizing a tripod and the Ike+. Hillside Consulting is a growing Fiber Optic Engineering Firm with numerous career opportunities. This opportunity is entry level and is not a "Lineman's" position.

Duties:
- Working independently outdoors taking very specific photos of Utility Poles for analysis by back-office. Individual must have transportation and be able to comfortably walk 1 to 3 miles per day.
- Upload and download collected data at intervals during the workday. Ike+ device is android based and familiarity with electronic devices, laptops and cell phones is a must.
- Follow Google earth map to collect data from specific poles on a route.

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and project requirements while wearing PPE.

Experience:

- Ability to work independently, be self motivated and enjoy working outside a must
- Previous experience in a similar inspector's role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprint reading, and Google maps is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze information accurately
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in data collection and record keeping

This is a paid position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Please note that all positions must be paid, including internship positions.
