HI TECH UTILITY CONSTRUCTION is a turn-key utility construction company based in Monroe, Georgia. We offer full-service construction and consultation services. This includes Directional Drilling, Fiber Pulling/Blowing, Private Locating Services, Job Surveys, Traffic Management Services, Inside Plant Construction and Maintenance, and Large Project Management Services. We are an experienced contractor working in the Atlanta Georgia market with several high profile projects on our resume. Hi Tech is a Quality-Driven company with a Customer First attitude. We are growing into other areas cautiously as we plan to maintain our high standards of Quality and Safety.

In this role, you will be required and not limited to.

· Locate and maintain locates on underground utilities.

· Scout and locate utilities in in-house and contracted jobs.

· Aid crews to find unmarked or marked underground utilities.

· Proof and rod unmarked underground facilities that may not have locatable wire or may be empty to locate for crews.

· Mark private underground facilities.

· White Line jobs so crews know where to install pipe or wire.

· Take pictures and measure jobs to include in a scout email to send to the construction workerager for pre-construction.

· Use locate equipment to aid other companies and home owners in finding marked or unmarked facilities.

· Collect and maintain good relationships with contracted locators.

· Use sewer camera’s to locate unlocatable sewer pipes and drains.

· Check and call in UPC locate tickets prior to start of jobs.

· Respond to emergency requests during an on-call rotation.

· Attend and request safety concerns in monthly safety meetings.

· Do daily checklists on in-house and sub crews.

Qualifications:
Would like to have 1-3 years locate experience (Willing to train entry level)
Drivers license.
Willing to work late or emergencies that can happen on weekends or holidays.
Provide all certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
• Utility locating: 1 year (Preferred)
