Utility Inspector

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a Utility Inspector with Water/Wastewater experience to be located in the Baltimore, MD area.  The inspector will be responsible for following and administering quality inspection programs and processes that ensure company and customer requirements are met. Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed.
Projects may include water system master plans, hydraulic distribution system modeling, water audits, water quality studies, disinfection, water systems design (water treatment plants, pump stations, etc.), water main replacement analysis, water vulnerability and emergency response, and Safe Drinking Water Program audits.  Projects may also include water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, sewer overflow facilities, sanitary sewer pipelines and manholes, booster pump stations, transmission and/or distribution mains.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Works under general or minimal supervision. 
• May provide on the job training to new employees. 
• Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. 
• Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records. 
• Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning. 
• Tracks quality assurance progress. 
• Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
