UTILITY BILLING SPECIALIST

We have an opening in our Kent office for a bright, energetic, and hardworking Utility Billing Specialist. This key position is responsible for the set up of client billing accounts and the generation of utility bills for our multifamily clients. This position will be a great fit for a person with excellent computer skills and enjoys detail oriented systems and processes.

We serve real estate owners, managers, and tenants all over the US by providing and automating UTILITY BILLING services to both commercial and residential properties. We help our clients by providing the submetering equipment required to fit the needs of their property based on our knowledge and technical expertise. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING HERE

• Use web based custom software to process utility bills for clients of apartments, condo’s, commercial properties, and manufactured housing properties.
• Administrate account details with billing services clients.
• Answer questions over phone and email from billing residents and property managers.
• Work with property managers to set up an account for the property that will properly calculate the amount each resident should be paying.
• Reach out to clients who have been slow to respond via call or email to ensure processes are completed in a timely manner.

OTHER PREFERENCES

• A 2 year degree or equivalent experience with a similar position.
• Detail oriented and comfortable working in software programs that require precision and accuracy.
• Strong spreadsheet knowledge and skills are preferred, comfort with spreadsheets required.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of customer service principles.
• Work well in both a physical and digital team environment.
• Willingness to learn new things and adapt to changes as the company grows.

SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm, flexible schedules are available for discussion after 90 day probation period

Hybrid work from home/office, weekly in-office attendance for specific meetings expected.

COMPENSATION

This is a full time position at our Kent office. wage of $20-24/hr DOE

12 days of combined PTO/sick days per year
