About the Company

Harbor House Collective is a minority-owned recreational, vertically integrated marijuana establishment involved in the cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensing of adult-use and medical premium cannabis. HHC is family-run, seeking hard-working individuals to join our growing team.

Summary

The Utility Agent aids in the dispensary’s secure internal procedures for the receipt, transport, storage, and organization of product inventory, as well as sales. Duties include, filling in-store and online orders with the correct products, performing daily audits of all inventory in-store, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace and vault area, and working on registers. This is a team-oriented position.You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with the Inventory Manager and General Manager to ensure the adequate stocking of products throughout the day.

2. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits as instructed by the Inventory Manager

3. Follow all hygiene and sanitization guidelines per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Adhere to strict distribution processes and maintain a professional and safe environment for customers and coworkers.

4. Greet and establish rapport with customers. Assist customers in identifying the cannabis and methods that best fit their individual needs.

6. Gather and process required customer information and perform detailed verification while maintaining client confidentiality.

7. Maintain the professional appearance of the collective by restocking merchandise on the sales floor and participating in basic store clean-up. Maintain the organization and overall cleanliness of the department and product storage areas.

8. Perform clerical tasks including accurate filing, compiling, and maintaining inventory and records.

9. Maintain appropriate levels of supplies, notify Inventory Manager of low stock.

10. Alert the General Manager or Inventory Manager of any product quality, packaging, or labeling concerns.

11. Organize all products by SKU, commodity group, and METRC tags in the vault and vault for sale. Ensure there is always clear separation between all products.

12. Ensure that the fulfillment of all POS or Online Orders are accurately packaged into bags with correct quantities, including all packaging and labelling that meets all local and state requirements.

13. Attentive to all tickets printed, fulfill orders in an orderly and timely process

14. Organize and file all bags from incoming orders, communicate any issues or problems with orders to Inventory Manager

15. Make sure all correct product is saleable or unsaleable through POS

16. Add positive and constructive feedback on products that are slow moving or overstocked

17. Consistently perform inventory and product handling processes and procedures to be 100% compliant

18. Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with MA Cannabis Program rules, METRC, and regulations is preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of cannabis strains
  • Basic computer operating skills including intermediate MS Excel knowledge
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Knowledge of retail point of sales (POS) system
  • One or more years of experience in retail sales or inventory control
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., reach arms above head, and stand for up to 8 hours a day
  • Must be able to pass any required CCC background checks
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff members and managers.
  • Efficacy with technology and point of sale systems.
  • A passion for cannabis that is translatable to a diverse group of ages, ethnicities, and professionals
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, dependable, and hardworking
  • Must be able to provide exemplary customer service and represent the business with pride
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
