Overview
Utah FFA Foundation is looking for a motivated and organized individuals to assist with the Utah FFA State Convention and State Judging Contests! This is a part-time position with flexible hours and mostly virtual. The Assistant is responsible for helping the Director take the proper steps to ensure that the FFA Foundation meets its annual goals. The day-to-day activities of this position include maintaining records and database, accounting, marketing, promotional planning, and other necessary functions as directed by the Executive Director. The main events this individual will be helping with are State FFA Convention which will be held in Logan on March 14-15th and State Judging Contests which will be held in Logan on April 23rd-24th. Utah FFA provides lodging for the position while attending the Convention and State Contests. Mileage and other expenses are reimbursed as well.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and preparation for State Convention
  • Organize and execute Foundation's 7 events during State Convention.
  • Set up and take down events during Convention.
  • Organize and distribute silent auction items to recipients.
  • Assist with planning and preparation for Foundation's Next Step Expo event during State Judging Contests in April.
  • Organize and execute Foundation's 2 events during State Judging Contests.
  • Participate in the Foundation's fundraising efforts by building opportunities for funding as well as maintaining strong working relationships with donors and partners.
  • Provide oversight of volunteer coordination, promotional materials development, donor recognition at appropriate events, and timely billing.
  • Maintain website and data entry into CRM program.
