Usps Mail Carrier

Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize mail for delivery
- Load and unload mail from trucks or vans
- Deliver mail to residential or business addresses along assigned routes
- Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail
- Collect any payments or fees for mail services
- Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages or mail sacks
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Commercial driving experience preferred, such as driving tractor-trailers or box trucks
- Ability to follow specific delivery routes and schedules

Please note that this position may require working in various weather conditions and may involve walking long distances during mail delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40,428.32 - $438,697.57 per year
