Our UX department is currently seeking enthusiastic User Research students to participate in our summer internship program. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong interest in contributing to a highly collaborative team environment, is a self-starter and is eager to learn.
As an intern at CHG, you'll work side-by-side with top researchers in the healthcare staffing industry. You'll be embedded with a team of designers, product managers, and cross functional partners across the organization and be tasked with delivering rich insights to aid with decision making.
This is an opportunity to be hands developing skills and expertise in planning and executing research studies, collaborating with cross functional teams and generating insights to maximize impact.
You will also be assigned a mentor who will be available for questions and guidance in completing assigned projects.
The CHG User Experience Research internship is currently scheduled for the summer semester; however, it could be extended depending on business need.
Responsibilities:
- Support the research team while they design, plan and execute a range of qualitative research studies. This can include interviews, focus groups, workshops, card sorting, usability testing
- Use a subset of quantitative research (surveys) to generate hypotheses
- Communicate verbal, written and visual insights to internal stakeholders to enable better decision-making for the cross functional team
- Manage our participant database
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated skills collaborating with others
- Experience with qualitative research - planning and execution
- Strong presentation skills
- Learner and Growth mindsets
Education and Years of Experience:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree (graduating in/after Dec 2024) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Liberal Arts, Psychology or similar.
- Relevant work experience with User Experience
Preferred:
- Experience with Dovetail
- Experience with Airtable
- Experience with Qualtrics
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay of $20.00/hour
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
