Salary: 120K-135K - benefits included
Status: W2 ONLY - NO C2C OPTION - Must hold Active DoD Secret Clearance
Seeking highly motivated individuals with strong programming skills and experience working in a Microsoft development environment. Individual must be self-motivated with very strong logic and problem-solving skills to be effective in our semi-unstructured environment. Writes, tests, and develops computer programs. Conceives, designs, and test's logical structure to meet program requirements. Builds, deploys, and maintains programs, web applications. Responsible for the design, development, and configuration of software systems to meet client requirements. Develops internet applications using Microsoft Web Technology. Experience working on an Agile Team.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written and then designs, codes, debugs, and documents programs.
- Conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action for complex issues.
- Designs User Interfaces of interactive web applications including ADA 508, and cross browser compliance.
- Maintains compliance with standards and conventions in developing programs.
- Develops required specifications for complex programs or problems.
- Develops the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Tests, debugs, and refines the software to produce the required product.
- Creates coded unit tests and works with Testers/Information Assurance to address program and/or security findings.
- Prepares required documentation, including block diagrams, logic flow charts and software program documentation.
- Full Software Development Life Cycle duties to include design, development, testing, verification, validation, and documentation.
- Relational Database Object development to include extensive use of Transact SQL to create database objects and efficiently retrieve and update data.
- Business Tier creation leveraging a MVC paradigm
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5-10 years of experience with programming or web development activities.
- 5+ years of UI software development experience on enterprise level business application(s).
- Fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and associated libraries (Bootstrap).
- Demonstrate UI design skills with a strong portfolio and enthusiasm for the user experience.
- Substantial experience in quickly creating mockups, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
- Excellent visual design skills with expertise in usability and user experience best practices
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing web applications using .NET C# , VB.Net Visual Studio 2015 and higher SQL Server 2012 or higher
- Parameterized Queries Team Foundation Server (work item tracking, source code control, database source control, versioning, branching)
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills T-SQL Query writing - joins Table design - normalization Indexing Stored Procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player concerned with mission success
- Strong problem solving, logic, and analytic skills
- Ability to use Cascading Style Sheets
- Strong JavaScript experience
- Secret Clearance
Skills Strongly Desired
- Must be detail oriented.

- Familiarity with source code version control Participate in all phases of software development with a focus on design, development, and implementation using SQL Server or other programming language.

- Working knowledge of MVC
- Comfortable automating the creation of HTML

- Ability to build secure DoD compliant web applications

- Creation and calling of Web Services
- Security+ Certification
- Ability to build Secure applications (i.e. OWASP top ten)
