Job Description
A growing family-owned dealership is looking to hire a progressive technology-savvy Used Car Sales Manager to their team. Candidates must have prior Used Car Management experience. This position demands a high-energy professional who has experience creating a positive sales environment and maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Be proficient with inventory management
- Be a leader & provide focus for your Sales team
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
- Build rapport with customers to establish customer network
- Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
- Help manage productivity of sales department
- Build a strong sales team through effective hiring, motivation, and ongoing sales training for continued team growth
- Adhere to high ethical standards, while maintaining gross profit and customer service index (CSI)
- Achieve monthly forecasted income and penetration levels
- Work with the service department to keep all pre-owned inventory marketable
- Follow up on sales leads by effectively working with sales consultants and assisting the sales team in closing deals
Qualifications:
- Current or prior Used Vehicle management experience required
- Proven track record of achieving goals
- Strong attention to details and the ability to work in a process-driven environment
- Outstanding communication skills
- Technology Savvy is a must!
- Ability to manage and lead people
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
