Used Car Buyer

Position Overview:
CarFive is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Used Car Buyer in a commission-based role. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for the entire buying process, from participating in auto auctions to arranging transportation and inputting information into our systems. This role offers a commission-based compensation structure to reward your success in acquiring quality Used Cars for our inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize ACV, Manheim, Smart Auction, and other relevant auto auction platforms effectively.
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and inventory availability.
• Oversee the entire buying process from auctions, including selecting suitable cars.
• Negotiate pricing and secure purchases within established budgetary constraints.
• Coordinate the transportation of purchased vehicles to the designated location.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective transport arrangements
• Accurately input all relevant information into the system.
• Maintain detailed records of purchased vehicles and associated documentation.
• Conduct market research to identify profitable opportunities and assess market demands.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in purchasing Used Cars, with a focus on auto auctions.
• Familiarity with any of the major auto auctions like ACV, Manheim, Smart Auction, and similar platforms.
• Tech-savvy with a quick learning ability.
• Knowledge of Tekion, vAuto, Carketa, or similar automotive tools (a plus).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Pay: Commission & Bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
