Job Description
Department: Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (WCIB) Operations - Custody Operations - Trade Services - U.S. Settlements
This individual will be leading the Trade Services Analyst Team, with 9 employees geographically distributed workforce, and supporting 45,000 accounts for U.S. Settlements. Also, ensures quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers. Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals. Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Participates in the preparation of the department's budget and is accountable for managing expenses and actively contributing to the achievement of department net income goals. Proactively manages operational risks associated with span of responsibility, including the identification of control gaps and the design of operational controls to mitigate risks and financial exposure to the organization. Participates in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units and coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.
This role is hybrid located in Saint Paul, MN, Earth City, MO, and Cincinnati, OH. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of experience in trust and securities operational functions
Three to five years of management experience
Skills/Experience
Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, products and services
Thorough knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Securities Services business lines and clients
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent supervisory and management skills, including a well-developed knowledge of human resources
Ability to manage multiple, unrelated tasks

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $79,135.00 - $93,100.00 - $102,410.00 Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
