Story Behind the Need
Business group: GBM Onboarding US - Global Banking & Markets Onboarding
Project: Assists in the onboarding of new client relationships, working with the business lines and clients. Includes US KYC / AML, Dodd Frank, FATCA and other regulations impacting the US Business. Escalates AML related issues and concerns to appropriate teams.

- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a high visibility role and support the CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligation) desk.
Typical Day in Role
Facilitate the regulatory onboarding of US Global Banking and Markets clients in an efficient, compliant and client-centric manner;
Work with team members and stakeholders to implement new procedures and regulations to meet and exceed internal / external audit standards;
Follow and adhere to AML controls; including review of high risk customers, PEP screenings, and standard KYC / AML policies;
Update onboarding platform tool with new / updated client information, as required;
Resolve day to day matters during the onboarding process; escalate issues to appropriate departments and team members for resolution;
Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of both the Bank's and the Division's business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings, financial markets, financial instruments, regulatory requirements, and Bank Office processes.
Must Have Skills/Requirements:
2-3+ year's experience working as a regulatory Onboarding Analyst or similar capacity
Knowledgeable in and experience with US FINCEN and US Patriot Act
1-2+ years' experience banking and/or capital markets business; desire to enhance working knowledge and build skill set;
Microsoft Office (outlook, Word, Excel)
Nice to have Skills:
Spanish speaking preferred
Understanding of Fixed Income and Equity markets
Soft Skills:
Detail oriented
Must be able to operate effectively within a stressful environment with changing priorities and tight time frames;
Strong communications, analytical, organizational, project management, and planning skills;
Ability to work independently and in team setting; Will require work outside of traditional business hours from time to time
Best vs Average: The team is seeking a resource who is detail oriented (critical to this role), and a good team fit.
Degrees or certifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, related field; compliance or equivalent experience;
ACAMS is an asset
SIE and S99 is an asset

o 1st round: Panel behavioral interview with Associate Director and Director, Head of US GBM Onboarding
o 2nd round: Panel interview with the team
