The Poplar Bluff, Missouri Medical Center otherwise known as the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center seeks a urologist to offer a patient-centered, full range of urologic services to a diverse group of veterans in an outpatient setting. We stress a higher degree of quality, slower-paced practice in a collegial and caring atmosphere.
The urologist will function independently spending 3½ - 4 days a week in the clinic performing the most effective delivery in general urology while meeting and exceeding compliance standards; evaluating consults from other clinical medical departments.
An average urological appointment is 30 minutes increments averaging 12 patients per day. For the remainder of the week, 1- 1 ½ days conducting procedures in a nonsurgical suite setting performing cystoscopies, prostate biopsies procedures, etc. Any surgical procedures will be referred to our sister VA medical center in St. Louis, MO if needed. No call or weekends makes this an ideal opportunity to take in the great quality of life that you and your family deserve, have no medical insurance companies to deal with, and you get to practice pure medicine.
