We are looking to hire a part-time person for our location in Del Mar Plaza. Your schedule will be flexible, but evening and weekend availability is a must.

We believe that customer interaction is the key to creating a fun work and shopping environment. If you can talk to people, work with a sense of urgency and keep a store neat we need you! We have 5 different retail brands and 10 stores in San Diego County, so there is room to grow with us. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Establish the customer service environment to create a warm atmosphere and execute excellent service
• Answer customers' questions about products and give suggestions as necessary
• Maintain sales floor presentations, including restocking products as needed
• Assist in the maintenance of visual merchandising and retail displays
• Accurately handle all cash and credit transactions, including purchases, returns, using standard cash handling procedures
• Assist in the opening and closing of the retail store location
• Aid Store Manager in supervising and training Retail Associates
• Contribute to the overall sales goals of the store
• Stock and organize new products as shipments arrive to the store
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management
• Possess strong mathematical skills to be able to count money accurately and precisely
• Available to work a variety of hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and possible holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
